Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a dinner show like no other. Medieval Times is a fun and family-friendly dinner attraction that is inspired by a traditional 11th century Spanish feast and tournament. Attendees are served a four-course banquet as they cheer for one of six daring knights, all of whom compete in the joust and other tests of skill and bravery.
Why It’s Popular
Medieval Times is so popular because it magically transports guests to a vanished world and a time gone by. This world of 11th century chivalry, sportsmanship, and merrymaking features jousting, swordsmanship, breathtaking hand-to-hand combat, exceptional displays of skilled horsemanship, and the medieval art of falconry. Set in a castle in medieval Spain, the banquet and show offer a unique alternative to the usual dinner theater date night. In addition to the show and feast, Medieval Times also features a dance floor, a Hall of Arms displaying medieval artifacts, and a medieval torture museum.
On top of all of this, the food is really quite good. In a feast fit for the nobility, diners enjoy garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, the Castle’s very own specialty pastry, coffee, and a beverage with free refill. There is also a full-service bar available for adult guests. Vegetarian meals are also available upon request.
